Shipbuilding, Marine, Agricultural, General Engineering

Cladser Fe-410L is a martensitic chromium stainless steel powder akin to type 420 stainless steel. Engineered for optimal wear resistance, it also maintains relatively good corrosion resistance in typical atmospheric and industrial conditions. Coatings made from Cladser Fe-410L exhibit robust strength and reasonable impact properties.
These coatings serve as versatile solutions, offering moderate to excellent wear and corrosion resistance, particularly effective when applied in heavy coating applications. They prove beneficial in scenarios involving mild abrasive particles, particle erosion, fretting, and surface wear challenges. Additionally, they are suitable for repairing and reinforcing grindable carbon and corrosion-resistant steel components. Operating temperatures for these coatings are recommended to stay below 540°C (1000°F).
Cladser Fe-410L is ideal for rebuilding or restoring undersized parts requiring additional coating material. The resulting coatings can be finely ground using silicon carbide wheels and can be machined into small sections with carbide tools.
Due to their hardness, Cladser Fe-410L coatings are suitable for applications requiring wear resistance and dimensional repair of steel parts.
